“Believing in God’s Presence” as a Religious Factor to Succeed in Pre-Sea Training: A Three-Round Delphi Approach to Develop Questionnaire Items

Despite all the hurdles during pre-sea training, faith in presence of Allah, Exalted, should help marine students to become stronger and gain more experience when they return from training at sea. Therefore, this study was conducted with aim identifying elements "Believing God's Presence"as a religious factor that helps training. A three-round Delphi procedure used, starting conceptualisation operationalisation form items first round. Ten experts had agreed participate two subsequent rounds. All were analysed using SPSS version 23. It found consensus among on second rounds high (IQ?1.00) there no significant changes scores Round 2 3. Items such as tawakkal, believing All-Seeing Power, learning creation other living beings seeking through prayer are discussed. Perhaps can feel Allah their make them strong. This also illustrates implementation process oprationalisation for future research.
